Zac Efron has been spotted filming scenes with Phoebe Dynevor for their dark new thriller Famous for the first time.
The High School Musical star has transformed into a villainous figure determined to find fame thanks to his resemblance to another Hollywood star, and he was seen filming the latest scenes in the heart of Los Angeles.
Playing the role of Zac’s glamorous companion, Phoebe, 29, was dressed in a stunning green printed gown as she and her co-star played the eye-catching couple arriving for a glitzy ceremony together.
The pair were hand-in-hand as they emerged from a car to attend the event, with Zac once again sported a dapper brown suit.
It was revealed earlier this year in July that Zac, 37, had been cast in the movie and teaming up with A24 once again following his performance in The Iron Claw, which released in December 2023.

Zac and Ernie Hudson were spotted holding a lighthearted conversation in between takes of a scene that seemingly took place in the front yard of a Los Angeles house.
Other crew members could be seen standing nearby on a porch as they prepared to film the two stars.
Famous is based on the novel of the same name written by Blake Crouch – who is also known for penning Dark Matter.
The former Disney channel star plays dual roles in the film, including a Hollywood heartthrob named James Jansen and a fan, Lance Dunkquist.
The premise is: ‘Lance Dunkquist has the face of a movie star. Not just any movie star – Lance has been mistaken for Hollywood star James Jansen 228 times.’
‘And now Lance is about to go to LA to make his dream come true. No matter what it takes,’ per an official IMDB synopsis.
Two months earlier in September, it was announced that Bridgerton star Phoebe had joined the cast.

Insiders later told TMZ that Efron had dove into the pool while with friends and upon doing so, ingested a large amount of water into his lungs.
The High School Musical ‘showed signs of distress’ afterwards and also appeared to be ‘momentarily dazed.’
Once security officials had rushed to Efron, he was then taken to a hospital ‘as a precautionary measure.’
After undergoing X-rays to ensure that his lungs were clear of water – Efron was medically cleared by doctors at the facility.
